In October 1967 the Branford Electric Railway Association sponsored a memorable fantrip from Waterbury, CT, to Brattleboro, VT, via the New Haven and Central Vermont. At Willimantic, CT, the FL9s that brought the train over from Waterbury via Hartford uncouple as a pair of CV GP9s prepare to take the train north to Brattleboro.
