Looking North at over grown ROW of the old Adams/North Adams branch line in Pittsfield MA, just past Johns Building Supply off Crane Ave. About another one and a half miles past this point is where the old rail bed turns into the Ashuwillticook rail trail. The fate of the remaining rails is up in the air at this point. possible plans to extend the rail trail to Pittsfield from Lanesborough have been rumored lately.
