the old Edaville

Under its original ownership, before it became just an amusement park with a train ride, the Edaville Railroad was an impressive narrow gauge museum recreating the days of the Maine two-footers. Former Bridgeton & Harrison 2-4-4T number 7 steamed across the South Carver cranberry bogs during Edaville's 1968 Christmas season operation.

Photographed by Tom Nelligan, December, 1968.
Added to the photo archive by Tom Nelligan, January 22, 2018.
