Amtrak Crane Close-Up in West Kingston, RI

Here is a more detailed view of the black crane in my previous photo. Looking more like a relic from another age than modern railway maintenance equipment, it appears that there might be a number following the AMTK reporting marks over the left truck, but the number is illegible due to paint sprayed over parts of it. Possibly the white A 59016 to the left of the door now identifies the crane. The white sheet of information to the left of the door is a sheet of safety reminders. With its 6 wheel trucks and heavy ring allowing rotation of the crane, this is an interesting piece of equipment. Anyone know anything more about it?
