MBTA 1123 Rolling Through Shirley

Lots of railfans in Shirley on 2/28, loaded with tripods, but this was not the main attraction. We were all waiting to catch a glimpse of Norfolk Southern's Penn Central Heritage Show Pony which never came through.. (More on the next picture).

MBTA 1123 (GP40-2MC) once wore Canadian National Zebra Stripes on the long hood, as this was originally built in 1974 as a GP40-2L(w), although here the Canadian Comfort Cab and the long hood were both highly modified.
