busy day at South Sudbury

The GP30s of Penn Central train LP-2 (Lowell-Providence) switch the weedy B&M interchange yard at South Sudbury, MA, on a fall afternoon. I'm sure I also photographed the B&M local at left, but 47 years later I can't find the negative.

Photographed by Tom Nelligan, October, 1971.
Added to the photo archive by Tom Nelligan, March 16, 2018.
Railroad: Penn Central.
