The MBTA has never maintained a layover facility in Framingham, so during the D&H PA lease the three weekday Boston-Framingham trains that they typically handled deadheaded back to South Station after the evening rush hour. PA 17 rolled through Allston with an inbound deadhead on a summer evening.
