Ex-NYC/PC Amtrak RDC-2 outbound on the Shoreline Main. What service was Amtrak providing out of South Station on the Shore Line with RDC"s???

That likely would have been Amtrak train 149, the Bay State, running from Boston to New Haven via Springfield, departing South Station at 5:10 PM in the fall of 1973. Normally it ran with two Budds and I never saw it with just one, but that job was the only regular Amtrak RDC assignment out of Boston at the time. If that wasn't #149, it probably was a deadhead move.
