A snow-covered MBTA Lowell train kicks up powder at Somerville Junction, the former east end of the Hill Crossing Freight Cutoff that led to West Cambridge and which became the Red Line right-of-way between Davis Square and Alewife. The cutoff diverged behind the signal at upper right.
