Amtrak 449, Lake Shore Limited, pulls into the Pittsfield intermodal Station with Locomotive #181 in the lead. 181 was actually the trailing unit of the Cascade No.51 that derailed in Washington state a few months earlier. I was not just a spectator today, I was boarding here at Pittsfield station and would be riding the 449 overnight to it's final destination in Chicago.
