Old Saybrook arrival

The departing passengers look eager to board as a westbound Amtrak corridor train pulls into the station at Old Saybrook, CT. Long before high level platforms and such, it was routine for westbound passengers to cross the eastbound track to board their train. Timetable rules and the operator at Old Saybrook tower insured that they wouldn't be surprised by an oncoming train.
