The CapeFLYER Train On Saturday June 9th, 2018

Photographed here is the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority’s (i.e., MBTA) 1070 clearing the historic railroad station located in West Barnstable, Massachusetts on the Cape Main Line. The locomotive for today’s run was an Electro - Motive Division (i.e., EMD) F40PH-2C numbered 1070, which was built sometime during 1988. This particular train began its sixth summer of commuter rail service just this past Memorial Day Weekend Friday between the Hyannis Railroad Depot in Hyannisport, Massachusetts and South Station in Boston, Massachusetts. MBTA F40PH - 2C 1058 was tied onto the south end of tonight's train.
