I don't remember the details now (it's only been 51 years!), but something happened to Connecticut Valley (later Valley Railroad) 2-8-0 97 on this fantrip out of Hartford that led to the addition of New Haven RS3 538 as a helper. Here the train passed the station at North Haven, CT, before detouring into Cedar Hill Yard to give riders a view of the facilities. There the problem was fixed and the 97 continued on its own back to Hartford via Devon and Waterbury.
