The Massachusetts Coastal Railroad’s Energy Train On Friday June 22nd, 2018

Photographed here is the MC 2010 clearing the historic railroad station located in West Barnstable, Massachusetts on the Cape Main Line. Behind it is the Massachusetts Coastal Railroad's Energy Train, with approximately eight refuse loads that originated out of the Barnstable - Yarmouth Regional Transfer station located in South Yarmouth, Massachusetts. These would all be destined for the SEMASS Waste - Energy incinerator at Rochester, Massachusetts. Lastly, the MC 2006 and the MC 2008 were also present with a short string of passenger cars, as tonight's dinner train was departing from Buzzards Bay for a trip down the Cape Cod Canal and then back again.
