MBTA mix

A weekend a Northup Avenue yard in Providence found an MBTA GP9 and a leased D&H PA (which would be going home a few days later), a pair of E8s behind them, and Boston & Maine SW9 1206 assigned as the commuter switcher back when the B&M was the MBTA's contract operator. The ex-PRR P70 and ex-NH 8600 series coaches in the background further show the diversity of equipment in use at the time.

Thanks for capturing this most interesting transition in Boston's commuter rail history!
