South Station switcher

Penn Central usually assigned an ex-NYC SW1 as its South Station switcher, the role being filled here by PC 8416 during Conrail's first summer. Interestingly, when the B&M took over as the MBTA's contract operator in 1977 it continued the tradition by assigning one of its own SW1s to this job.
