DOD-Xtra in Westford

For the first time, 2 of Pan Am repainted C40-8's have been coupled together to lead a train. The occasion was for a National Guard equipment move from New Hampshire. The lead unit has been appropriately decorated with extra American flags for the trip. The engineer held a New Hampshire state flag out the cab as the train quietly rolls through Westford.
