On the last day of service to Providence Union Station, a Boston-bound Amtrak train comes off the original track alignment at left with the new trackage and Amtrak station at right.

Very interesting and rare photo! Once the tracks to PUS were removed, Amtrak shifted the two foreground tracks (the main line) to access the left most platform. Very neat!
