Conductor Davidson is "standing tall" watching move from the "fireman's side". Crew was pulling morning train from the Junction into yard. Second crew was pushing. Typical morning fog in the Connecticut River Valley. (7/29, I stand corrected, Cdr Davidson is on the engineer's side).

I so well remember the thick fog in the Conn River valley. I would drive from home in Henniker, and the roads would be clear. When I got near Claremont Jct it would be thick. As a side note, that EFCX car was probably for LaValley Lumber in Newport. This is kind of a forlorn looking yard at this point. The grass and weeds are taking over That dark horizontal item near the freight house is the piggyback ramp. Yes, we had piggyback, but not a lot of it. About the only thing in this photo that still exists is me!
