FI-1 with light engine MEC 353 (GP40) accepts a signal allowing it to proceed west to Gardner, where the crew was supposed to spot a car on the Haywood branch. FI-1 was waiting for MBTA train 422 until the latter reported being delayed in the Westminster storage facility and FI-1 was allowed to head west on track 2 1st. Centerbeam flats on track 1 are on the rear of POED, more than 6 hours after it passed CPF-333 a mile to the east.
