rainy day at Beacon Park

Former New York Central E8 4055 was working in Boston-Framingham commuter service when it laid over at Penn Central's Beacon Park engine terminal in Allston, MA. The SDs immediately behind it are ex-Pennsy units. It's hard to believe that this facility is now completely gone.

Photographed by Tom Nelligan, April, 1969.
Added to the photo archive by Tom Nelligan, September 5, 2018.
Railroad: Penn Central.
