Ayer, MA

Typical Saturday morning: PB-99 pulling off West Wye with pick up from the Hill Yard; NE-84 stopped at Moore's on Eastbound Main, A-1 local on West Main Street and MA-6 Local on the Camp Track. What is different from today is that all these trains would be moving within a matter of minutes not hours!

Photographed by Bruce Nelson, March 8, 1975.
Added to the photo archive by Bruce Nelson, September 17, 2018.
Railroad: Boston & Maine.
