reopening North Station

The suspension of train service during 1984 following the Charles River trestle fire gave the MBTA opportunity to rebuild North Station's platforms and tracks, although the current high level platforms wouldn't come until the complete reconstruction in 1995. On the first day of restored service, a pair of commuter trains awaited their departure.
