MBTA Train 1407 Arriving at Ayer, MA

MBTA 1124 (GP40MC) leads train 1407 to its stop in Ayer, MA as late afternoon sun replaces the dark clouds in the distance that deposited a few drops of rain before moving east. The equipment from the tie gang that is working between Ayer and Wachusett is resting for the weekend on North Main St,, in a line longer than the pavement of the platform. Note the metal framing of a new fence that will enclose the track 2 (inbound) commuter platform soon, extending west to the Keolis offices west of the platform.
