Returning from Newport, the long freight is on the stretch between the two covered bridges, where the track parallels the road on the south side of the Sugar River.

You are posting some really great shots of my favorite little railroad. I am especially pleased to see shots from the late 50's and the 1960's. as those are times that the C&C seemed to be neglected by the photographers. I am grateful you were there, and I hope that you will post more. Thank you.
