Keolis is employing about 20 machines involved in replacing some 30,000 ties between CPF-WL and Wachusett. It's a few minutes after 3pm so the parade of machines, which had been working track 1 west of Slab City, heads east to tie down on the West Main St siding at Ayer. It's a bit reminiscent of a NEREX track car car event!
