Four out-of-service Boston & Maine GE 44-Tonners are lined up outside the Billerica, MA, shop awaiting their fate. The B&M had ten of these little engines, the last of which, 119, was retired in the late 1970s.

Is that the ill-fated Krautkramer Ultrasonics RDC4 in the backgorund?

Yes, that was the ex-Minneapolis & St. Louis RDC4 that was owned by Krautkramer and that later became a tool shed at North Station.
