P&W Switcher Arrives in Gardner

PW 3908 and PW 3905 (B39-8E's) arrive in Gardner with a sizable train, which was yarded on 2 tracks. Rear block of cars on the train, which referred to itself as the P&W Switcher, was a long string of private owner gondolas bound headed for Ayer and yarded on a separate track from the rest of the train.

Visitor Comments about this Photo:

That's interesting about P&W dropping gondolas bound for Ayer - when EDPO got involved in the Thursday 1/17/19 mid-day mishigas among POED, EDPO, and FI-1 at Gardner, the Pan Am dispatcher did mention something about EDPO needing to make a P&W pick-up, which I thought was odd. Now I know why! Thanks for the details.
