Sunset on The New HavenThe sun is literally and figuratively setting on the New Haven as the Mail and Express glides into South Station led by FL-9s #'s 2051 and 2054. A sorting facility is under construction in the background. Such facilities will be the doom of the Railway Post Office Car that did the sorting of mails en route.
