Bad Night In Acton

A freight train had derailed up ahead in Acton. The Boston wreck train shown here in West Concord and headed by RS-3 #1518 awaits an order to pass by the red signal. The wrecker's crew car partially shown here in the foreground was an old wooden parlor or coach from the 1800s. Note the arched vestibule doorway.
