Train M-179

Moving the mail was still significant enough to have a dedicated train in the evening. Penn Central E-8 #4259, still in Pennsylvania Railroad colors pauses at Route 128 Station. Ex- PRR Railway Post Office Cars were increasingly part of the consist replacing the smaller and older New Haven RPOs.
