B&M Partnership

B&M piggyback job with Erie-Lackawanna SDP-45 #3643 leading charges up the Freight Cutoff in East Cambridge early in the morning. Fitchburg main is in the foreground. Dereco was a N&W-owned entity involving the E-L and D&H. For a while they operated through power on trains handed over to the B&M at Mechanicville. The Cutoff is now a bike and walking trail.

That lead unit is a mere 5 months old and the clean paint shows it! Very nice!

The lead unit is actually an SDP45.
