The Turner's Falls local is crossing Thomas Memorial Golf and Country Club in Montague, Massachusetts. Former New Haven trackage made an easy connection at the west end of East Deerfield yard. Thus B&M came to use it and abandon its own trackage out of Cheapside.

Very interesting! Wonder what the USGA Golf Rules have to say about a shot hitting a moving train on the fairway? Add a stroke and take a drop?
