Westbound

A Cedar Hill to Maybrook train is following the Housatonic River, past Indian Well State Park in Shelton Connecticut. New Haven usually did not mix 2500s and 2550s with older power. An exception was on Sunday afternoons, when local power, returning from the shop in New Haven, worked their way back to Danbury.

Photographed by Ken Patton, April, 1969.
