MBTA 1117 (GP40MC) leads MBTA train 117 to Rockport out of North Station while hiding on the far side of Amtrak Train 685. Both are due out at 5:00 p.m. but Amtrak got away in a more timely fashion. I was hoping to reprise a shot I got 2 years ago with 3 trains leaving side by side and almost perfectly lined up coming off the Charles River bridges. A schedulle change has moved the 3rd train, 419 to Wachusett, to a 5:05 departure so it was a vain hope, even if train 117 had kept even with Amtrak. The 2017 photo was on the 55th page of my photos when this new photo was posted, should anyone care to see what I missed in 2019.
