Mass Central at Palmer in 2003

ex-B&M GP9 1728 (blt 1957) and ex-MILW GP9M (blt 1954/reblt 1973) handle a good sized cut of CSX and perhaps NECR interchange at Palmer MA. The GP9M still exists, sitting OOS at Ware along with a rare NW5. And the GP9, which went to Raritan Central in 2004 and ultimately Larry's Truck & Electric in 2013 where it resided until at least 2018, may also still exist.

Photographed by John Barlow, July 29, 2003.
