PLL 1012 by Appleton Street in Laconia

The runaround by the Lakeport Engine Shed was done, and the Crew of PLL 1012 (SW1000) were taking their train north with stops in Weirs Beach and ending this trip in Meredith.

Here, they approached the Appleton Street Crossing in the Lakeport section of Laconia. The Caboose is equipped to be used as a shoving platform if needed. The rest of the consist included two former "Lackawanna" coaches (DL&W and EL) sandwiched by two former Reading & MBTA Budd RDC-1's. Keystone State connections.

The "Scenic" part of the Winnipesaukee Scenic is to the left with open views of Paugus Bay.
