Amtrak Train 162 Pulling Into Kingston Station on Track 1

AMTK 654 (ACS-64) leads train 162 into Kingston Station on track 1 while train 137, from the previous photo, is still boarding passengers across the platform. Both station personnel and train crews do their best to make certain that passengers are boarding the proper train when 2 stop at this platform simultaneously. There is no pattern as to which side the Boston trains stop on and which the New York trains stop on, as there usually is with normal double track operation on tracks1 and 2.
