Amtrak Train 82 Arriving Kingston Station on Track 3AMTK 617 (ACS-64) leads train 82 along 'new' track 3 to its Saturday afternoon stop at Kingston Station. The center-beam flat in the background is RVPR 9998; RVPR is the reporting marks for the Riverport Railroad of Savanna,IL, serving an industial part there and offering car storage facilities. This car and an SP double-door box car were delivered to Arnold Lumber overnight on the night of September 9-10 and had not been retrieved as of Saturday. Also, notice that the train on Track 3 does not trigger the train approaching warning signs; the Track 3 signs are only activated by a train on Track 1, working in perfect synch with the track 1 signs. Since trains on track 1 can pass at 150 mph and trains on track 3 are limited to 45 mph (and most are slower, as they are stopping) the odd behavior of the track 3 warning signs probably does not create any considerable danger.
