Even though we were still mourning the old New Haven, the sight of these shiny, back to back Penn Central E-8s was striking as they led The Senator on its journey from Boston to Washington. On the point is E-8 #4270 as the train dashes through Canton Junction.We are early in the Amtrak era and the motive power and rolling stock have not yet been "rebranded".
