NA-1 / 509 by Bow Blue Seal in Bow

Here was the NA-1 Crew late on a Tuesday afternoon,10/30, as they headed to Bow Blue Seal to take out three empties and leave one covered hopper. The rest of their train was left well to the south of the Hall Street Crossing.

MEC 509 (GP40-2w) is the current power for the Nashua Crews. The 509 has had very brief rotations over the past few years on these rails, once in summer 2018 and once in late fall 2016. Not many of these wide-nose-cabs left in dark gray and orange, 510, 514, and the long OOS 508(?) are the others. Wide-nose-cabs 502 (before the repaint), 504, 505, and now 509 have been sighted on these NH Rails so far in 2019.
