South Sudbury Diamond

Where the Central Mass crossed the Framingham & Lowell. Was surprised to see that this is still in place. Last saw a train probably 1982-3 on the F&L. Central Mass had abandoned here by 1980.

I drove a tractor-trailer for Saxonville Lumber which had a main warehouse near this diamond (I assume the same one)...picked up plywood there many times 40+ years ago...at that time most lumber came in on the B&M though I believe they occasionally received cars from the Conrail side.
