This amazing structure was built in 1908 to replace the first wooden trestle that burned to the ground, A Railroad Enthusiast special ran over it in 1971 and the last freight was a year later. Much of the Greenville branch is a rail trail today, but the trestle is not part of it. It was removed in 1984.
