Heading From The PC Interchange

Beautifully maintained Grafton and Upton S-2 #1001 heads towards Hopedale MA on a warm day. Windows and cab doors are open to let the breeze blow through as a crewman keeps a watchful eye along with the engineer. The boys on the G&U maintenance team have even gone so far as to touch up the ALCO-GE builders plate. This picture has that "all-is-well" feeling. Its good to know the G&U still survives and thrives today.
