Deferring To The Passengers

Maine Central GP-38 #262 heads a solid MEC lashup a long way from MEC territory. It is holding while an MBTA Commuter Rail job slows for the platform at Ayer, MA The autos will go to the unloading facility in Ayer. Guilford took over the Maine Central that year and the yellow paint scheme with the Pine Tree herald would start disappearing under Guilford paint and the "Big G".
