NA-1 / 509 Approaching Garvin Falls

An interesting move on a drab cloudy day. Here's one more from the special delivery the NA-1 Crew made to hand off the big container mover to New England Southern in Concord on 11/20.

A very nice article appeared in the Concord Monitor detailing New England Southern's important role in making this special move work, and the big rig's final destination, The big rig rough terrain container handler was sitting on a 6 axle flat car with width of the chassis and tires being greater than that of the flat car.

The 509, GP40-2(w), was the power for the Nashua Crews for about a month, as MEC 505 is the current road power. This was taken just to the south of the Garvin Falls Hydro Power Plant in Bow.
