NEGS 2555 in Canterbury Yard

This was it, the final rail destination of the big rig Rough Terrain Container Handler move from 11/20. It was reported that the wide big rig cleared the openings of the Merrimack River Bridge in Concord by some very slim margins.

A recent article in the Concord Monitor detailed the specifics of the move, and the final destination of the big rig when it was offloaded and transferred to a truck a few days after. The clean shiny yellow New England Southern SW1500 locomotive photographs very well in all kinds of weather, even on what was a drab cloudy day.

Photographs in the yard during this move were taken with permission.
