NA-1 / 505 alongside Chauncey Ave in Manchester

Here was some residential running in the north end of Manchester, late Wednesday afternoon as the NA-1 Crew was heading north out of town before sundown.

A relatively short train, with only nine loads went through this nice neighborhood that has the tracks on one side, and the Merrimack River on the other.

MEC 505 has been the current road power for the Nashua Crews for several weeks now. This 1974 built GP40-2L(w) is one of the very few blue painted wide-nose-cabs that has a Pan Am "Nose Globe" on the front.. 504 & 506 are the others. 505 is equipped to lead well into the future with an installed PTC/ACSES system with a very noticeable antenna array on the cab roof.
