NEGS 2555 almost to MP C-0

This was New England Southern's last scheduled run until Spring. On an outrageously warm January day, the NEGS crew headed light to Concord first thing in the morning to pick up two center beam cars loaded with railroad ties. The Crew took the center beams north, completely unloaded them, brought the empties back to Concord for Pan Am to pick up, then headed for home base until Spring.

Here the NEGS Crew was approaching the White Mountain Branch Switch at Milepost C-0. The second set of tracks to the right are the active remnant of the former "Northern" in Concord.

Always great to see this railroad and their staff in action.
