G&U Build-out Status Hopedale 3/6/20

Photo in upper left corner shows track laying inching further east from previous end of track just past the Hopedale St bridge. Lower photo shows about 20 Dana Rail Services cars stowed in Hopedaly Yard on the main to Milford on the left and new runaround siding on the right. Also visible are stockpiled rail and ties for building another yard track. Photo in upper right shows a to-be-installed hand throw switch likely to be added off the lead to the G&U Logistics warehouse. Slow but steady progress - not sure if the extension of the main toward Milford is the final push to connect to CSX or simply an extension of the tail track that has been used for car storage for the past several months.

Visitor Comments about this Photo:

I saw them replacing the switch to the track leading into the building.
They were also working on the tracks near the fly ash towers but couldn't get close enough to see what they were doing.
